Frances Howard Greene, 87, passed away on April 4, 2024, in Lexington, KY. She was born on February 15, 1937, in Harlan, KY, to the late Rance and Fannie Howard. She is survived by two daughters, Tammy (Craig Smith) Greene, Nicholasville, KY and Jacqui Greene, Lexington, KY; two sons, Randy (Terry) Belanger, Middlesboro, KY and Rodney (Gloria) Howard, Gainesville, GA; three grandchildren, Decina Labadie, Jaynia Allen and Ronnie Howard; three great-grandchildren, Lillian Allen and Jedidiah, Eliott and Wesley Howard. She was preceded in death by two children, Danny Belanger and Susan Bryant. Frances had an indomitable, independent spirit, zest for life and was known for her great sense of humor. She loved to travel with her close friend, Viettia Barnett, was an avid crafter and loved to play bingo and work puzzles with her friends. She volunteered with Interfaith and AppelRed while living in Bell County. Frances was dedicated to her family and loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. No services planned.
