Sheila Ann Overbay, age 63, of Middlesboro, Kentucky, passed away on March 7, 2024 at Middlesboro A.R.H. with her loving family by her side.
She was born July 15, 1960 in Middlesboro to the late Frank and Mildred Williams. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her late husband of 47 years Jack Overbay.
Sheila had a strong faith in the Lord and loved listening to Gospel music. Her grandchildren were her world and there was nothing that ranked above them. Sheila loved simply being with her family whether it was Christmas, Thanksgiving, or a family cook-out. She also enjoyed playing horseshoes even though she wasn’t any good at it. If you really wanted to get to the heart of what Sheila liked, she enjoyed a smoke on the porch by a lit tiki torch while she watched the sun go down.
Left to cherish her memory, son Jackie Ray Overbay, daughter Rebecca Doyle and husband Jason, grandchildren Mason Doyle and Nora Overbay, brother Michael Williams and wife Tish, and sister Tammy Williams Rose, as well as a host of other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.
Her children would like to extend a special thanks to Mom’s brother Mikie and wife Tish as well as her friend Cindy Doyle, for helping with her care. We would also like to thank Middlesboro A.R.H. ICU team for giving her the best care possible and for keeping her comfortable.
