Clyde Baker

Clyde Stanley Baker, age 62, of Speedwell, Tennessee passed away January 7, 2024 at his home.
He was born in Pineville, Kentucky on January 22, 1961 to the late Clyde and Helen Orr Baker.
Clyde was an avid UT football and basketball fan and really loved music. He was a very dedicated, hardworking man who always provided for his family. He loved being outside, whether it was doing yardwork or simply enjoying nature from his front porch seat. He loved to go riding on his buggy in the mountains. He loved having his family together and spending time with them. He was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his nephews Ryan Collett and Josh Daugherty, and sister-in-law Lisa Ward.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 42 years, Helen Elaine Baker, son Stanley “Buddy” Baker Jr., daughter Christy Michelle Baker, brothers Raymond (Ginger) Baker, Jerry (Kathy) Baker, and Ralph Baker, sisters Elizabeth (Leland) Stewart, Pat Hoskins, Carolyn (Darrell) Riggs, Wanda Baker, and Jeanette Collett, grandchildren who owned his heart Hailey Brooklyn (Dewayne) Marlow, Jonathan Greene, Blake Baker, and Hannah Baker, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends who will miss him dearly.
The family of Clyde Baker will receive friends Thursday, January 11, 2024 from 5p.m. until 8p.m. at Green Hills Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2p.m. on Friday, January 12, 2024 at Green Hills Funeral Home Chapel.
Graveside services will immediately follow at the John A. Partin Cemetery in Chenoa, Kentucky.
Pallbearers will be Jim Mullins, Shelby Howard, James Jones, Michael Howard, Jerry Baker and Justin Daugherty.
Honorary Pallbearers Jonathan Greene, Blake Baker and Robert Taylor.
