Bell County extended its win streak to three with a 64-39 victory Friday over visiting Claiborne, Tenn., as part of the Pride of the Mountains Classic on Log Mountain.

Senior forward Gracie Jo Wilder was one of three Lady Cats in double figured with 25 points. Lauren McGeorge scored 18, while Kairi Lamb added 11.

“I thought we did some good things.  I really was pleased with the way we got on the offensive boards.  I thought that the girls moved the ball well in transition,” Bell County coach David Teague said. “It waas another game that we got a chance to play a lot of kids, and thought each of them did well. We’ll keep working and try to get better.  We have two tough games coming up on the road next week against Letcher Central and Hazard.”

Bell County will play Letcher Central on Friday and Hazard on Saturday in the Big Lou Coaches vs Cancer Classic at Perry Central.
