Free fire alarms are being made available to homeowners in Bell County through the American Red Cross’s program “Sound the Alarm, Save a Life.” Red Cross volunteer Melissa McGill delivered fire alarms to the Middlesboro Fire Department and explained to fire department representatives the importance of the program throughout the United States.
Middlesboro Fire Chief Robbie England, along with three representatives from local fire departments, were available for the presentation that included Middlesboro Firefighter George Wilson, Frakes VFD Firefighter Matthew Dykes and Bell County VFD George Molnaf.
To find out how to have the free alarms installed by a local fireman contact the Middlesboro Fire Department at 248-4683, the Bell County VFD at 337-8080 or the Frakes VFD at 337-6177.
