Middlesboro gets back on track with 59-37 win over Tigers

A 21-point performance by Trey Brock helped propel Middlesboro past Barbourville, 59-37, on Tuesday. It was a nice rebound for the Jackets, who lost a heartbreaker to Bell County just four days earlier.
Brock scored his 21 points while shooting 80 percent from the field and 80 percent from the free-throw line. Jabari Kyle finished the night with 10 points, and Jordan Davis tallied eight points.
TJ Patterson led the team in rebounds hauling in 12 boards to go with his six points.
Shawn Vaughn paced Barbourville with 12 points while going 5-for-15 from the field. Colby Martin ended the night with seven points. David Collett and Matthew Warren finished the game with five points apiece.
With the victory, Middlesboro moved to 7-6 on the season and 2-4 in the region.

Middlesboro (7-6) will play Lynn Camp (9-6) on Saturday at Williamsburg in the 13th Region All A Classic. Tip-off is scheduled for 4 p.m.
Barbourville (6-6) is slated to play Lynn Camp on Thursday.
