The second show of the Bell Theater Fall and Winter Concert Series was held on Saturday with huge success.
“Thanks so much to everyone who came out last night to Jingle Bells at the Bell,” Bell County Tourism Director Jon Grace said. “The concert featured The Wooks, Arlo McKinley & TLS. I appreciate the love and support more than you know.”
With Christmas being this week, they felt this would be a great kickoff to the Christmas break. The show was also used as a fundraiser for ROHO.
“We had a limited number of prints of a piece of art done by a Somerset based artist Jeremy Scrimager,” Grace explained. “There were 50 prints for sale and half were signed by artists and the other half not. The original print was sold at a silent auction with all proceeds going to ROHO to help the local area needy children at Christmas.”
Bell County Tourism, Main Street Pineville and Middlesboro Main Street worked together to bring this great lineup to the Bell Theater.
“We were so excited to have such a stacked lineup of the region’s best talent for our second show at the Bell Theater Fall and Winter Concert Series,” said Grace. “The first show went fantastic and was a complete sell out, and we hope to continue that trend with this one and to be able to help raise money for ROHO, which is one of the area’s leading nonprofits.
“They do so much for underprivileged kids during Christmas, and I’m thankful to my friend Chris Lowe for bringing this idea to life and to Jeremy for the amazing piece of art.”
The group plans to put together more shows at the Bell Theater and looks forward to more great lineups in the future concert series.
