Students at Page Elementary School got a special visit on Monday from Former NFL player Jerod Thomas. Thomas is a former Arizona Cardinals and Marshall University defensive back. He visited students at Page to share his story of drugs, alcohol, academic struggles, bullying and abuse. Thomas overcame all of those obstacles to become an All-American in three sports and held a 4.0 GPA and has created drug and alcohol rehabilitation centers across the United States including one in the same prison that he served a sentence in. Page School wants to extend a thank you to Thomas and welcomes him back to their school anytime.
