The Lone Jack School Center started the school year out with Readifest in July. The Family Resource Youth Service Center provided backpacks and school supplies for students along with Dr. Kendra’s office with dental care and prevention center and Ms. Christy from the Bell County Extension Office with information for families. New principal, Jonathan Defevers, grilled hot dogs for attendees. Defevers enjoyed getting to meet his new students and families at Lone Jack School Center. Approximately 250 people turned out for the event.
