Bell County has good showing in season-opening meet

The Bell County track teams had a good season-opening meet in the Pulaski County Invitational at Pulaski High School on Aug. 24. taking first in multiple individual events.
“I feel like we had a great first meet,” said Bell County coach Jason Stewart. “All of the kids have been working so hard the last few weeks and it really showed today.
“Caden came out and set the tone for the season right out of the gate, and as a coach you love to see that. Jazmine had a great race on the girls varsity side, Hayden and Nickel stepped up with big wins in their divisions as well. I’m very proud of every kid that raced today. They showed heart, raced hard and it showed in the results.”
