The 2019 Miss Freedom Fest is still accepting applications for this Saturday’s fourth annual pageant. The 2019 Miss Freedom Fest will take place Saturday at noon inside the Middlesboro Arts Center.

“I keep getting asked is it too late to enter,” pageant director Brittaney Shea Bayless said. “You can enter up until 11 a.m. on pageant day.”

This is the fourth year the pageant has been held and is open to all girls from baby miss through teen.

“I have printed applications or I can e-mail them to anyone who is interested,” Bayless explained. “We will host a practice on Friday at 7 p.m. at the Arts Center, and you will have to turn in your application picture and money there if you choose to attend practice.”

The proceeds from the annual Miss Freedom Fest pageant go to Vets Serving Vets. Their mission is to care for and help veterans integrate back into the community by serving and honoring the men and women who are the community’s veterans.

“You can message me with any questions,” said Bayless.

Throughout the year, Miss Freedom Fest is invited to be a part of events throughout the community. Prizes include crown, sash, photos, and the winners hold their titles until the fifth annual Miss Freedom Fest.
