The cruisin’ season is upon us. Every third Saturday of each month from May through September, the Middlesboro Mall parking lot will be filled with jaw-dropping automobiles, music, and family fun for the Cruisin’ the Crater summer event. Cruisin’ the Crater began in 2003 as a small event, but each year it has continued to expand and is now a treasured show for car lovers throughout the southeast and across the country. The event is put on strictly by volunteers and donations because there is no money taken by those in charge of setting up the event. Cruisin’ the Crater kicks off at 2 p.m. at the Middlesboro Mall parking lot and goes until 8 p.m.
