<p>Photos by Ray Welch | Daily News</p> <p>Mayor Rick Nelson and councilman Boone Bowling sits with the middle school and high school cheerleaders on Tuesday. Mayor Nelson signed a proclamation declaring Tuesday “Middlesboro High School and Middlesboro Middle School Yellow Jacket Cheerleaders Day.” The team will compete at the National High School Cheerleading Championship at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida. The event will be nationally televised on ESPN and ESPN 2. </p>
