Ledford pours in 38 as HHS routs Cordia

In a 72-42 win Thursday at Pineville, the Harlan Green Dragons found the range from the 3-point line with 11 for the game.
The Dragons took their hot hands with them to Hindman on Friday, hitting 17 3-pointers in a 107-86 win over Cordia.
Senior guard Kilian Ledford poured in 38 points to lead the 15-8 Dragons. Jordan Akal tossed in 25 and Jon Eldridge added 19.
“We shot the ball extremely well,” Harlan coach Derrick Akal said. “Kilian had one of those nights. He hadn’t been shooting the ball well, but the last two games he has been shooting the way he is capable of.”
Darryn Pringle and Kalil Harris each scored 24 for the 2-12 Lion. Anthony Glasgow added 18 points.
Harlan returns to action Tuesday at Clay County.

Anthony Hidalgo scored 24 points to lead Cordia in a 53-48 win over Harlan in junior varsity action.
Jaeden Gist led the 1-10 Dragons with 21 points. Charles David Morton scored 15. John Mark Bryson added nine. Johann Gist tossed in three.
