During October, Southeast Kentucky Community and Technical College (SKCTC) and Selling to the World will offer free workshops on the SKCTC Middlesboro and Whitesburg campuses: “Behind the Scenes with Kentucky Educational Television.”

According to Selling to the World Director Jeannie Allen, “This is a great opportunity for our students and for people in the community. Whether they are interested in a career in video production, have questions, or are just curious about how the pros do it, this workshop will have lots of great information.”

The workshop will cover topics such as careers in production; basic camera, lighting and sound techniques; and green screen use.

Middlesboro’s event will be held from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on Oct. 2 in the Troy Welch Allied Science Building room 217. Whitesburg’s will be held on Oct. 23 in the Belinda Mason Building, room 122.
