Pineville presented Governor’s Safety and Health Award

The Pineville Crew Center in Bell County was recently presented the Governor’s Safety and Health Award on Sept. 4 at the Pine Mountain State Park Lodge.
The award was for 376,895 hours worked without experiencing a lost-time injury or illness.

LG&E serves 326,000 natural gas and 411,000 electric customers in Louisville and 16 surrounding counties. KU serves 553,000 customers in 77 Kentucky counties.
The Kentucky Labor Cabinet presents the Governor’s Safety and Health Award to highlight outstanding safety and health performance in Kentucky’s workplaces. A business may qualify for the award if its employees achieve a required number of hours worked without experiencing a lost-time injury or illness. The required number of hours is dependent upon the number of employees.
