Bell picked up their second victory of the season after defeating the Lady Lions 3-2 (19-25, 26-23, 25-23, 22-25, 15-7). Their first win of the year came in the form of a 3-0 victory over Barbourville on Aug. 13. Up next, the Lady Cats (2-11) will host Harlan (7-7) in a district clash at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.</p>

The Lady Lions came up just short of picking up their fourth victory of the season losing 3-2 to the Lady Cats. Pineville stands at 3-9 on the season with wins over Barbourville, Lynn Camp and Middlesboro. Up next, the Lady Lions host Oneida Baptist Institute (15-1) at 2 p.m. on Saturday.</p>
