Community Trust Bank announces promotions; Hensley, Sparks named branch managers

Ricky Sparkman, South Central Region president of Community Trust Bank, has announced promotions at the Middlesboro and Pineville branches.
Assistant Vice President Rebecca Hensley has been promoted to the Middlesboro main branch manager.
Ethel Sparks has been promoted to the position of branch manager in Pineville.
Branch manager duties include providing consumer, residential, and commercial lending options to new and existing client relationships, overseeing the daily operations of the branch office, and calling on existing and prospective clients to develop new business and to retain and expand existing business.
Hensley has worked for Community Trust Bank for over 10 years and has more than 22 years of banking experience. Her office is located at 1918 Cumberland Avenue in downtown Middlesboro. Her office is located at 11792 US Highway 25 East in Pineville.
Hensley graduated from Middlesboro High School and attended Southeast Kentucky Community Technical College in Middlesboro. She is active in supporting the March of Dimes, Relay For Life and the Bell County Repair Affair charity organizations. She resides in Middlesboro.
Sparks has worked for Community Trust Bank for over 24 years. She previously worked at Community Trust as a proof operator, a teller, head teller and executive secretary.
Sparks graduated from Middlesboro High School. She participates in charitable events such as March of Dimes and Relay for Life. She has won first place several years running in the Cumberland Mountain Fall Festival Decorating Contest. She recently led the Pride Litter Pick Up and Repair Affair events for the Middlesboro Market. Sparks resides in Middlesboro.
