Bell County defeats Scott, Tennessee

Bell County used a three-run rally in the bottom half of the six to earn a 10-6 victory over Scott, Tennessee on Saturday. The win gives Bell County their second consecutive victory after defeating Pineville on Thursday.
DJ Estes led the Bobcats at the plate ending the day with four RBIs and one run on two hits. Jacob Smith finished 2-for-3 with two runs. Jason Jones tallied two RBIs and a run on two hits. JM Baker and Chandler Mink also scored two runs on the day.
Jordan Wombles picked up the win on the mound. Through three innings, he allowed two runs on three hits. He struck out six batters and allowed two walks. Jones and Estes also saw time on the mound.
Scott went ahead four runs in the second inning before Bell County tied the game up with four runs of their own in the third. Despite two runs by Scott in the fourth, the Bobcats scored three runs to take a 7-6 lead.
Bell County secured the victory with three runs in the sixth.

Bell County (10-3) was slated to square off against Middlesboro (10-6) in a doubleheader on Monday.
