Bell County hands Lady Wildcats 56-43 defeat

The Bell County girls basketball team earned their second straight victory on Tuesday when they hosted Lynn Camp. The Lady Cats delivered a 56-43 victory over the region opponent.
Brittney Cupp led they way putting on another impressive performance from the floor. The senior center tallied a team-high 23 points while shooting a team-best 57.1 percent from the field. She went 7-for-8 from the charity stripe. She registered a double-double after hauling in 16 rebounds.
Karlee Cox chipped in 14 points after connecting on five of her 14 attempts. Brittany Davis also reached double figures on the night with 10 points. Abby Harris scored eight points while going a perfect 4-for-4 from the free-throw line.

Bell County (12-8) returns to action on Saturday when they travel to Corbin (7-14) at 6:30 p.m.
Lynn Camp (8-9) squared off against Barbourville (6-12) on Thursday.
