The Cumberland Hope Group was scheduled by Lone Jack School Center’s Family Resource Youth Service Center to commence the school’s Red Ribbon week programs.

Representatives from the Hope Center spoke to students about their lives, describing what might happen to you if you chose the wrong path as they did including how they’ve stolen from their families, lost their kids, and gave their family many heartaches because of drugs.

They also spoke to students about peer pressure, and taught them that a life at home with drugs is not a normal home life. It’s suppose to be so much better. At the end they told the children of how they had hit rock bottom in their life before seeing they needed help.

The Cumberland Hope foundation is a place where they have a chance for renewal to straighten their lives out and do better.
