Pineville’s strong start to the season continued on Tuesday when the Lady Lions hosted Thomas Walker, Virginia. For the third straight game, the Pineville girls basketball team defeated an opponent by double-digits with a 62-23 victory over the Lady Pioneers.

While the season is still early, the Lady Lions have definitely shown their potential in the past three games. With the exception of Jackson County, Pineville has been able to maintain big leads without much of an issue.

It was Jill Enix and Raigan King leading the charge on Tuesday with both finishing in double digits. The duo combined for more points than the entire Thomas Walker girls basketball team.
