The Mountain Lions handed the Jackets a 50-29 defeat. Pineville tallied 32 points in the second half to pull away for the victory. Thompson finished with a game-high 11 points while Evan Biliter picked up eight points. Blaine Woody paced Middlesboro with a team-high 10 points. </p>

<p>Middlesboro’s Bryson Barnard gets fouled on the way to the basket during the 5th and 6th grade game against Pineville on Monday. The Jackets came away with a 39-27 victory. Daniel Thomas and King Hubbard led Middlesboro in scoring with 10 points apiece. Sawyer Thompson and Dylan Abner paced Pineville with seven points apiece.</p>
