<p>Courtesy photos</p> <p>The Middlesboro Middle School Lady Jackets qualified and competed in the Kentucky State Tournament over the weekend. The Lady Jackets advanced to the Elite Eight defeating teams from Rockcastle, Morgan County and Campbellsville along the way.</p>

<p>The Middlesboro girls middle school team finished up their impressive season with a trip to the Elite Eight in the state tournament. The Lady Jackets wrap up the year with a 24-2 record.</p>
